First, I would like to start off by saying I recommend staying away from most fat burning supplements like Nutrex Lipo 6. Lipo 6 has synephrine which is a synthetic form of ephedrine. Here’s a report on that the Mayo Clinic gave on synephrine. It’s pretty scary isn’t it? Synephrine speeds up your heart rate which causes your body to heat up. This in turn, causes you to lose weight. If I were you, I would stay away from the products that make your body do unnatural things.
I understand why people are motivated to buy fat burning products like Lipo 6. I actually bought some myself. I decided not to take the pills after finding out more about synephrine. I would suggest doing what you can to burn fat naturally. But what are some natural fat burning methods? Well here is a list of things that you can do or eat, to help you burn fat.
- Eat 5 to 6 smaller meals a day. This causes your metabolism to increase.
- Make cardio workouts a part of your workout routine. I would recommend doing at least 20 minutes of cardio 3 -4 times a week depending on how much fat you need to burn.
- Try to do cardio first thing in the morning before eating breakfast. After you wake up, your body has burned through all the carbs stored in your body. It is now in fat burning mode.
- Eat fat burning foods like, asparagus, beets, broccoli, cabbage, carrot, chillies, soybeans, sweet potatoes, apple, blueberries and watermelon. The pectin in apple restricts your cells to absorb fat; and also encourages your body to absorb water from the food. And this helps in releasing the fat deposits from the body.
- Drink green tea. It helps to burn fat also. Now, if you don’t like the taste of green tea or you want to reap the benefits of green tea without drinking it, you can always buy green Tea extract.
